King Fahad Causeway Authority
ICT & IoT infrastructure, fiber, civil/electrical works and WIM truck scales — plus the live deployment of PMS, the border-management and toll-enforcement platform controlling vehicle access across all lanes.
Deployed at the King Fahad Causeway — the 25-kilometre crossing between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia — the platform has to reach a full compliance decision in the few seconds it takes a car to roll up to the gantry. Realtime engineered the entire chain end to end: edge ANPR capture, IoT sensor fusion, live policy checks against national systems, and automated barrier control.
Every vehicle is identified on approach, its insurance and permits validated in real time against the UIC and Manafith APIs, and the lane barrier raised or held over MQTT — with no operator in the loop. Checks that once required manual inspection now clear automatically, tightening enforcement while removing the bottleneck at one of the Gulf's busiest crossings.
